Imperial Russian Silver & Cobalt Blue Cup, Carl Gustaf Ekvist, St. Imperial Russian Silver Cup By Carl Gustav Ekqvist. Features ornate silver casing of reticulated cable roped design intersected by small rosettes, creating a diamond pattern. Finished with arching rococo scrolled handle and cobalt blue glass interior. Marked with "GCE" for Carl Gustav Ekqvist hallmark, "84" and in Russian Cyrillic alphabet initials. For Eduard Fedorovich Branderburg assay mark above the date 1858 as well as St. Petersburg City mark and an 84 Russian silver standard. 2 3/4" (7.5 cm) hight with handle & 4.5" (11.5 cm). Scratches, dings & dents on base, a some spot, normal age wear, the glass cup is in excellent condition.
